Quick Draw at the Arboretum!

We are thrilled to bring back Quick Draw as part of our 2024 event. Artists will have 2 hours to paint Blandy and capture its amazing views. Whether you are a seasoned artist, a beginner artist, or somewhere in the middle, we invite every skill level to join in the excitement of a plein air quickdraw. Returning to Blandy to judge this year's event is last year's Featured Artist, the talented Barbara Harris.

Quickdraw preregistration at the Welcome Tent daily and on Saturday at 8:00-9 am.
Fee is $10.00/person.
Allow time to complete the registration paperwork.

Artists are invited to bring their Quick Draw artwork for judging, exhibit, and sale at the Quick Draw Sale Tent. Drop off immediately at 11 am.

Note: all work submitted for sale must bear the Quick Draw Plein Air Art Festival inked stamp to qualify. Quick Draw supports must be blank at the start of the competition on Saturday morning. 
 

All paintings sold are subject to the 30% event commission collected by Foundation of the State Arboretum.  All proceeds will benefit the Foundation and its programs. Artists may choose to donate a larger amount of their commission. We welcome your generosity. 

 

Quick Draw paintings do not need to be framed to be considered in the judging and award process.
